MyTeslaPlate

This tool generates custom UK-style number plate images that you can use as backgrounds on your Tesla's main screen. Tesla recently added a feature that allows you to customise your car's display, including adding custom number plate images from a USB drive.

Create personalised plates with various customisation options including colours, borders, location badges, and more. All generated plates meet Tesla's requirements (420x100px, PNG format, under 0.5MB).

1. Generate your plate using the form on this page
2. Download the PNG image by clicking "Download Plate"
3. Prepare your USB drive:
   • Create a folder named LicensePlate on your USB drive
   • Copy your downloaded PNG file(s) into this folder
   • Ensure filename is under 32 characters (letters and numbers only)
   • You can add up to 10 custom images
4. Insert the USB drive into your Tesla's USB port
5. Navigate to Background → Image on your Tesla's main screen
6. Select your custom number plate image from the menu

Note: Make sure your USB drive is formatted correctly and the files meet Tesla's requirements (PNG format, under 0.5MB, 420x100px recommended).
